Dating to late antiquity and possibly built over earlier structures, the ruins of Dajti Castle were discovered in 1963 and later included on Albania’s list of cultural monuments.
Located within Dajti National Park at an elevation of 1,100 meters, the site offers sweeping views over Tirana and, on clear days, vistas that extend toward the Adriatic Sea.
Portions of the castle walls are partially hidden by dense forest vegetation, enhancing the site’s sense of mystery and natural beauty.
